Thanks for filling out the forms guys. Will be working out the details of organizing Trail leaders and trail assignments over the next few weeks.

Couple of issues to clean up. My mistake by not asking for the last name on the trail selection form. If your name is James or Andrew, please email me you first and last name with the name of your passengers. I can figure it out from there. Thanks. chris@100sinthehills.com

This is one of my favorite videos of Black Bear Pass...I laugh every time, hearing the commentary from this guy's wife! Looking forward to it again and hope this gets everyone psyched up for the end of July!

Is there not a choice for a XXL hoodie? I'm only seeing XXXL, and XL...

I got around to installing my CB today. It took about 3 hours because I pulled the entire driver side interior out.

Since I have a tundra radio antenna instead of the telescoping LX antenna I pulled my power from the antenna relay harness.

I desperately need to find a CB shop and have them tune my antenna now.

Finally getting around to filling out the form and choosing trails, we're really excited for this trip.
Question for those with with experience on these trials: How long are these trails time wise?
Are they all about the same, or are some quicker? We'll have to be back in Salt Lake for work Monday am, not sure if we have time for a trail run on Sunday.

All trails will start in the morning (9-ish) and will last all day (4-6pm). Trails like Black Bear and Imogene will actually be two trails in a day so you'll have the option of hitting the highway from Telluride and making it a half-day only.

If you're looking to leave on Sunday, I would suggest doing Black Bear and then leaving from Telluride. It's about 6.5 hours from Telluride to SLC. We should be at the bottom of Black Bear before 1pm.

The prep work begins.....

Is there still room for signup? If I missed that than thank you for helping anyway.

I wasn't able to find a CB shop within decent range to help me tune my antenna. So I looked at the local amateur radio website and saw a guys number posted there. I gave him a call and he instantly agreed to meet me tomorrow to use his SWR meter.

He is retired from the same industry I work in, so we ended up chatting for quite a while. I was shocked when he told me he wouldn't even let me give him a few bucks for his gas to come meet me and tune my antenna. Super nice guy!

I'm not too familiar with tuning antennas. Does this allow me to dial in one channel or is is a broad range that gets tuned? If it's one channel or a narrow range of channels, what channel should we be tuning?

Just got my LC. Sent an email to the "info" address to be put on the wait list. Fingers crossed.

Sorry, but no more spots available. About 40 deep on the wait list at this point and I'm positive we won't make it much past 3 on that list, if any. Please keep this in mind for next year, love to see your truck and hear about the Rubicon.

Thanks

chris

The waitlist is incredibly long and as much as we'd like to allow everyone to attend, we're just not there permit-wise or even logistically. The Town of Silverton has been incredibly gracious to us and we will be a much larger event next year.

There is a little bit of trepidation in losing the close-knit feel going forward, but we have some ideas to keep it tight. We'll announce the cap number for HIH7 at HIH6, but if you think about it....... the number makes sense. ;)

100!
