Hi All, My name is David/Dave - whichever one suits your mood. I've been an owner of a lx470 since January, but a longtime fan of the land cruiser in general. Big thank you to @paflytyer and @Blue Cruiser for putting together what is shaping up to be quite an amazing experience. Looking forward to meeting all of you and bringing some St. Louis delicacies for you all to enjoy. I'll be bringing the girlfriend and our dog, of which both are quite the princesses when it comes to camping.

Quick question about the campground, will we have access to the showers and bathrooms even if we are just doing tent camping? Or is that something only available to folks with cabins?

Also, if you guys could do something about moving Kansas between now and July that would be great. What a damn big and boring state to drive across...

Back to putting in Icon Stage III suspension :)!

Dave

According to previous posts there does seem to be showers available to us. Just be happy you aren't crossing the entire state of Texas. :-)

The way I see it this new location will fit the bill for EVERYONE coming along! Hotels and BnBs right a few blocks away, cabins, space for ground tents, rvs, off-road trailers, pop ups and so on! There's absolutely no excuses for not going and claiming it would be too rough! :)

Showers for all. Even lowly tenters (I tent it). Good luck with the suspension upgrade.

I'll ask again just to be clear not pushy: do we have to be out of the spot Sunday evening or Monday morning is ok?
Thanks

Ordered my CB from Amazon today, never too early to start getting prepped :)

I went with the Cobra 75 - thanks to @bkmc24 for the help!

Weird, just bought this item on Friday and it was $20 cheaper than the same link shows now.

Even if the group reservation is done on Sunday, it looks like it would be really easy to reserve an extra night for anyone who wants to stay longer.

For sure man! Enjoy! Let me know if you need any help with install or VSWR tuning!

Recently installed the same radio and its great. I "installed" a Midland from Amazon and returned it for the Cobra 75. Mounting the Cobra's small box in the console was so much easier than trying to find a place for the larger Midland.

Instead of stickers, can we get some magnets made? I'm not big on stickers, but a magnet to throw on the steel bumper...YES PLEASE!

Happy to pay more to offset the cost, perhaps others would be interested too.

Well I sold my Tepui RTT a week ago. It just wasn't ideal for how I spend most of my time outdoors. Tonight I got a new tent! I got an Oztent RV5! I don't know if many of you are aware of promotive.com but they usually offer amazing deals to first responders and military members. I was able to pick up that tent for a crazy price. I look forward to putting it to good use this year while camping/overlanding.

Hey guys, hate to be the buzzkill, BUT........please check your emails and reply to the PayPal invoice that you may have if you ordered any extra shirts during registration. I think I sent out about 15 reminders tonight. If you could pay, ASAP, that would be great. A lot of stuff we pay in advance, so having it on hand, definitely helps out. Additionally, the WAIT LIST is officially full. It is at 30 plus at this point. Still blown away by the interest, this year. Such an exponential growth. Lastly, we are working on a form that we will notify all registered participants about. It will reside on the website and require you to fill it out. Pick trails, pickup some stickers, order more shirts, and whatever else we can think of will be on this online form. Stay tuned for more on that, not quite ready. @paflytyer have a big week in Moab coming up, so it will definitely be after that.

Thanks again

chris

OutdoorX4 Magazine is proud to be the Media Sponsor of 100s in the Hills this year! We plan to have some nice swag for all participants and are working to give some nice items away at the raffle. Stay tuned as this will be an awesome event and for those who haven't been before, you're in for a very good time.

Looks like I will be 100les this year:( Hopefully I will still be welcome in the new Tacoma as long as I'm giving bumper away:)

Tacoma? Decided against the 200 route? Or is that next up? The new Taco is pretty sweet, I have seen a ton of them in Phoenix. For you seeing a lot of them is a good thing, if you will be building bumpers for them....

@benc Only if it's Quicksand....
Tried to find it in quicksand but no luck so I got the inferno orange.

That was the original plan but I don't think the market will be there for 200 products for a few more years and the market for Tacoma products is hot right now.
