I plan to make the drive from Denver to Silverton on Thursday. As of now, my kids and I plan to be in Denver Wednesday night, pick up my wife at the airport some time Thursday (hopefully a.m.) then leave for Silverton.

Let's stay in touch, maybe find a fun route to Silverton. :steer:

Sounds good. I would imagine many 100's will pass through Denver on their way to HIH, so there may be an opportunity for a caravan.

Do any of you other attendees by any chance have a set of OEM non-AHC torsion bars laying around?

I just installed my Dissent front bumper with Smittybilt 12000 winch and my AHC pressures are high enough I'm not sure I can get them in spec. I'll be doing the sensor lift before or right after HIH and the best option for getting everything within spec would be a set of used LC torsion bars.

I have mine off a 98

In the past you guys have kept a list on the first page with the vendors sponsoring the current event! A good way for the community to also support those vendors ahead of the actual event and also to know who's NOT interested in support it!
Are we gonna see another one of those lists here soon? I want to buy some things before hitting the road to HIH and kind of want to know which direction to send my $$$ and which ones NOT to!

We did the registration about 6 weeks earlier this year, than last year, so we are still gathering the info on sponsors, etc. We will definitely post up, very good for you guys to see the support and you can hopefully support them. Don't worry, no disappointment will be had on raffle night. @paflytyer is the man at securing awesome support.

Guys- I'm trying to plan a fun route from Denver to Silverton. Does anyone know if there is a way through off 82 in Aspen that connects to the 135 in Crested Butte?

Just made the deal! This will be the last year I miss HIH!!!! Hopefully my 2006 LX (stock) will be here within the next couple weeks.

There isn't a vehicle route. Mountain bike if you're interested, but you'd have to have someone drive around and get you. It's probably not the best idea to come from PA and try to bike that route. It's a lot of high altitude pedaling.

Taylor Pass is close, but it's not an easy dirt road either. Again, probably not something you'd do alone. Taylor Pass

I'll start the Denver-Silverton route thread next week.

In fact, let this be my claiming the first spot in line for next year!!! @paflytyer and @bluecruiser seriously, let me know if you guys need any kind of help.

I might be picking my wife and oldest son up at the airport in Denver. I and my 2 younger boys will be driving in from Nashville TN. If it works out we would like to caravan down with the Denver group.

if you are headed through St. Louis and timing works out, you can hook up with the convoy headed out from here Wednesday morning. I'll keep you posted...

@Nezzar, I will be living in St. Louis by the time HIH rolls around. I'd be interested in joining the convoy.

I have a set off of a 2006. Replaced them with OME last May. Still in need of a set?

@ikanclim another member is lined up to bring me a set. I will confirm with him closer to the event date and get back with you.

Thanks for letting me know you have a set.

My crew (me and my 3-year old at present) will be arriving Thursday from San Diego. Any other SoCal attendees?
I'm coming from San Diego with my father who is flying from Dallas to drive to Colorado with me. Wouldn't mind joining a caravan if the times match up.

I know there are some attendees from Texas is anyone driving through the Dallas area on the way back and could give my old man a ride back? PM me if you can or have room please!!
