WOW! 6 years ago I think there were only about 10 somewhat built 100s in the US and four of us came to Ouray. Today, I have personally heard from 80 plus folks wanting a spot for HIH6. @paflytyer and I have done our best to literally answer every email, one by one. I apologize if my typing became more and more messy in my email replies. Trying to get it all blasted out tonight. Within the next week or so, you will see an additional Paypal invoice if you ordered extra shirts (besides driver). Again, that is a manual process that I will knock out after a long day at the office.....

We appreciate the spirit and excitement from everyone. It's going to fun!!...Back to the emails for me, Thanks EVERYONE!!

Thanks to you both for all the work on this.

Not being familiar with the event and typical sequence of events, I have a question for those that have gone previously: If people were to camp one night and hotel the other (Friday and Saturday), which do you think would be better for the hotel? No difference?

I was one of the lucky wait-listee's so I'll be joining this year. :)

Friday night = 100% camp night, you don't want to miss the potluck time, meeting a bunch of new people and the raffle!
Saturday night, sure but I would still try to stay at the camp as late as possible then head to hotel room that night!

@paflytyer @bluecruiser , can't thank you guys enough for the efforts and dedication to make HIH what it is. Last year was our first year. We drove a total of 4800 miles (from SC) with me, my wife, 5yo little man, 3yo princess, and our shepherd in an overloaded 100. Couple that with the rain, cold, kids' first camping experience, altitude, kids were sick......and the best scenery in the world - it was an awesome time! On the long drive back to SC my 3yo daughter was already planning the next trip. Well, we were part of the lucky group and made it through the registration frenzy! Looking forward to meeting everyone I did not get to meet last year as we were taking care of our little ones and not kicked back in the rain with the group. Kids are stoked and mom.....well, she is coordinating air travel to line up with our departure.

Also, thanks for the FB post. It was nice to see an East Coast 100 heading up to Poughkeepsie Gulch in the registration announcement!

^^ Appreciate your hard work, guys. I am very excited to meet everyone and see Ouray for the first time.

Woo hoo, In! Now I can (re)arrange summer plans!

Awesome. I absolutely don't want to miss the potluck and figured camping would make all that easier that night. Saturday hotel it is then!

Thanks!

Who else is making the trip from Arizona? Let me know if anyone is interested in a caravan.

I know it's a long shot, but please add me to the wait list.

Wow, can't believe it filled up this fast. I had an alarm set on my phone but I was busy last night so I decided I would just sign up in the morning. Sounds like even if I had gone straight to the computer I might not have gotten through.

I scheduled a couple of weeks off around HiH and was planning to hit up HiH along with some other stops. The trip is still gonna happen but it looks like it will be sans HiH :(

Called around, most places were already booked or didn't have a room with 2 beds. Staying at the Comfort Inn on 5th Avenue. It ain't cheap, but at least I'm confirmed. Only 7 miles from Ironton Park, so it'll be easy to go back and forth.

If there is a wait list I'd love to be added to it. This event fills up fast! Maybe next year I'll go as a supporting vender!
