My sliders are welded to the body. I've held the weight of the entire rig on them with no problems.

Yeah, it may be, but sliders (or some rectangle tubing) welded to the body is a pretty common thing. Mostly due to the fact that rockers rust like crazy on these babies and very few through the years have made rockers.

That is until bobm came into our lives.

I think they were only offered on '68 or '69?
This Pig has the marker lights in the grille like a '69.
That is the extent of my Pig knowledge on these...

It looks like the grill parking lights were for 68 and 69 MYs. Those are pretty neat, shame they stopped this. I dont see the purpose with the covers on the latter models like we have.

Sounds pretty rare!
Also sounds like an expensive design change. Did they use them on anything else?

I know everyone is fascinated by the turn signals (I am too), but I'm actually curious about the rubber (I presume it's rubber) around the wheel wells. Does anybody know the where I could find this items? Could help with a simple issue I'm having.
