Just picked this 67 FJ45 LV with a extended cab & pickup bed last week. Hoping to get it picked up in the next week or two and swap a 69 engine out of a FJ40 I have here into it when it gets here. The truck has 76,000 miles on it but someone pulled the engine at one point and the carb & distributor were stolen off the engine during that time. I want to put a set of bows in the back that follow that same bends as the FJ40 factory soft top frames. The previous owner said there was log rack on the back but he cut it off when he got it bc it was ugly. Here are some pictures for now. I think the truck will look a lot better once it has factory wheels and new leaf springs & shocks on it. I like how it looks like the pickup version of my LV I have now

It was just up the road from me. Not my cup of tea, but glad it's going to a good home.

Friggin cool! Never seen one of those before!

Is that a conversion or an actual model variant from the factory? Not sure I’ve seen any documentation of such. Cool rig!

@FJ40 MATT you for sure now need to wildcard your forum name

Haha yea might have to talk to woody about that. It’s a FJ45 LV that someone converted into a extended cab and used the back of the LV as a pickup bed. Truck isn’t for everyone and I would never cut up a LV like that but it’s already been done and I’m looking forward to cleaning it up

With some good coachwork, you could have a very interesting one-off vehicle. Doesn't look near as oddball as it could.

Yea I feel the same way I think this truck has a lot of potential. I like having a truck that doesn’t look like everyone else’s

I got some last minute help yesterday from a fellow mud member getting this truck picked up after my shipper didn’t show up all weekend. Need to start looking into some new leaf springs for it

Just got it last night. Has a Chevy engine in the back I’m pretty sure. Going to put some pictures up the engine to see if anyone knows if it’s worth anything or parts off of it. Will post more pictures of the truck at the same time

Definitely a Chevy, could be a 216, 235, 250...
I posted more pictures of the engine above. Any parts worth taking off for a gm guy or just toss it?
