How did the 60 Thread fall so far ?

Rob took TWO leafs out of the drivers side.

Ole girl riding smooth and level now.

I'll let Rob explain the PITA of wiring it all up. He spent a lot of time in it making it super clean.

He even wired up the Kaymar lights

My truck looks good @wngrog!!!!

Im still leaning 98-00 100. But the 80s are growing on me. She STILL thinks she wants a 60/2 but its based purely on aesthetics and riding in one as a kid.

Hopefully we can start shopping/ test driving again after she finishes this current work project.

Ole girl is leaning a bit to the drivers side now.

It won't ever be perfect I know. It sure is easier to get in and out of for my old ass though.

I like the more level stance.

It really rides nice.

Rob wired the bumper as flasher/stop. It completes the look to me. I always hated I was too lazy to wire it right.

What a great truck. I don't want to drive it very far with the 110 hp 2F but for catting around the farm and to Jackson and back it's perfect.

I've been hearing a weird sound that is at startup and goes away.

Julie followed me home yesterday and told me the old girl smokes a bit.

I can't really see it often. It doesn't cloud up just puffs.

It was 3 quarts low after 1400 miles.

Ouch.

I'll go buy a case of Dino and just put a 1/2 q in every time I fill up.

Gave the ole 2F a Seafoam fog too. It was running a bit rough and it cleared it right up.

No I actually just picked it up the other day. Traveled to NOLA today to buy two front doors as mine are toast and my lower tailgate suffered a trailer accident. Im trying to prep and paint before I get real busy at work.

So yesterday when I was peeling out (as much as that is possible) after my Seafoam fog to blow it out I determined that the 2 leafs out of the pack made my truck sit like I liked it but it was just too soft.

If I parked it to the driver side it just basically collapsed

So after consulting Rob on vacation (sorry dude) I decided to pop the small leaf back in.

It's amazing a 26" leaf can make that much difference.

Even with the long leaf out it popped back 1" high on the driver side.

Experiment done. It's nuts but it is what it is I guess.

Here is the leaf I kept out. It's #4 and the last of the long leafs.

When Rob wired up my M416 he also fixed up the wiring on the 60

When I got the truck it was doing some weird stuff electrically and I traced it to the rusted out trailer harness. Colorado rust and the Ross Barnett have been rough on the back 1/2 if the frame on this Cruiser.

Rob made it nice and tidy. I love neat wiring.
