I have no doubt. I just wish JTU was more of a non-purist like me and opted for a GM connect and cruise swap instead during this build.
I’ll be happy to repurpose the proper drivetrain into something else. It’s got the radiator for the LS swap already.

Anyone in the MS crew or whomever.....running dual batteries in their 60 or other LC or other vehicle.....where you've found a good dependable solution as to setup/configuration? I'm looking for ideas. I have dual batteries in my truck, but its old school where there are two batteries and the two batteries are connected by a 2 gauge wire at the pos terminal. Recently I've had a secondary battery failure and thought before I go buy another set of $200 + ea batteries, I might explore (a) cleaning up some of my wiring (b) look at what others are doing on dual battery setups (that work). I've run the game of better cables, better alternator, better grounds etc. Looking around at options without going crazy...where possible. ALT is a CS144...which I think is about 140 amps. I've been running two 34 case size 800CCA , start batteries (twins). Blue sea makes what appears to be a nice "smart" relay...national luna makes a type of dual battery kit and I'm sure there are others. But I'm looking for info, etc and what might be good choices..thanks
I don’t run dual batteries on anything and I probably “overland” as much as anyone with plenty of battery use.
One battery is plenty.
With the advent of lithium jump packs that weigh 1/4# I think all the extra wiring is unnecessary unless you park on one spot with the stereo and fridge running full bull for 3 days

Yeah...I've thought about that , thats something I've been considering also. Agree...not sure there is much payoff for me really .... doing the dual setup....its a pain in the @$$, I'm not a hard core camper either. I may just do that..."nothing" and go back to single battery and get a good 34 or 27 case battery and call it a day and clean up some of wiring BS along they way , since I need to do that as well. To many electrical gadgets and stuff is problematic anyway.
Reducing my aggravation factors is a plus
napa shot me in the $$@ and no longer makes the batteries I have....old school 800 CCA top post (only top post), I think my crank battery is good, I pulled both of them out the other day when I had a hard failure on the secondary battery, I'll put the crank battery on charge for a day or two and see what it does and then if I have to buy something I'll get whatever new...(some large, sealed 800 CCA battery) that works in the LC tray, if I have that choice...I've been looking around on the internet for various batteries over the last few days.
