Nice rig, I like the 2tone paint.

Welcome 2 MUD:flipoff2:

I'm actually up in Aurora. That picture is from the PO and they were down in the Springs. Not actually sure if that's Woodland Park but it could very well be, they live just on the south side of the Academy.

5. 12HT, 33x12.5x15s Trxus', Shackles; 2.5" I think, Few interior goods.
Used for work, camping/fishing rig, wheeling when I can.
I'm a long time Toyota fan, yet this is my first Cruiser, coincidentally my first diesel as well... Wow, love it. Incredible feel...
60s have always been my favourite of these things anyways. Sad to say it but this beast turns my 4runner into... Well... A poor excuse;)

Here she is day one! (Purchased from a friend, an ex-coworker and technician at our local Toyota shop)
I thought the bumper and grille needed some "lifting" so I proceeded in doing something a little more signature.
Yes, the bull-bar and lights have been coated and re-installed just no updated pics to follow. Enjoy!

Hi all,

Newby here. Will pick my HJ61 Turbo Diesel 12HT up next Saturday.

Long search to find a '86 one (Road Tax free in NL). But rewarded with a great HJ61. Bonus: airco. Not very common option in Europe.

The car is in great shape and a nice base to make it even better.

2. JW, Joe. GN4HIR on the Jag Forum
3. No official name, "The Truck" seems to single it out from the others in the driveway. Might go with 'El Jefe' You will know it if you see it, it has "FJ62" as a license plate.
4. 217K
5. 4th owner, it was bought new and has stayed in Houston, orig window sticker from the dealer (who is a mile from me) still in the glove box. Had Smittybilt bumpers and nerf bars and American Racing wheels when I got it, had the bumpers Rhino coated. Added OME suspension, tinting, stereo, front and rear lights, air horn and a bunch of minor fix up.. radiator, valve adj, rebuilt steering box, repaint of roof, etc. Will be adding transmission cooler, possibly roof rack.
6. Week end transport to the shooting range, high water transport if it EVER rains again in Houston.

Tidy rig - those sliders look a bit sea-planeish, but overall it's clean and tidy by the looks...

Welcome to Mud..:flipoff2:

Thank you for the welcome.. I have to admit, I almost left the nerf bars off when I was getting everything Rhino coated as the truck looks a foot taller with them gone.. but they match the front and rear bumper. My mechanic hates the bumpers but I like the retro 80's look, plus they are not all that heavy.
