Hey, my names Bryan this is my 1987 hj60. I just call it my g wagon its got 330,000km on the odometer. I use the truck for a daily driver. Right now its stock with 33" bfs, Plan to spring over soon.

What's that paint you used on the lower half? Looks great! That's not bedliner is it? Looks too smooth to be bedliner (yet still matte finish, it seems).

The G is a deluxe package available on some diesels, known informally as a G-pak (or pack). The side vents are ALWAYS missing on factory 60-series diesels (BJs and HJs). I was going to find a $ decal to put behind my G. G$!

1. 1986 HJ 60
2. Alex Jones
4. 270 K km
5. Conn-ferr Roof rack, 20% tinted windows, Gozzard flares, some sort of upgraded springs, simple steel bumper, Tremclad paint.
6. DD, off road rig, tow rig, general fun toy,

Future plans for the rig include Grease conversion, Snorkel, interior mods.

I wonder what the G-Pak adds? My 1984 BJ60 has the "G" emblem on the front fenders, but hardly seems like it has a lot of extras.

FYI, I have new pics of my truck now, just a recap:
  1. 1984 BJ 60
  2. owner: me! Peter :D
  3. name: The Smurf (due to the colour)
  4. 331,000 kms (approx 207,000 miles)
  5. Mods: nothing significant... 30x9.5 BFG A/T KO tires, modest sound system (Sony XPLOD) with iPod interface, alarm, starterkill. May do OME 2.5" lift, power locks and veggie oil system in future
  6. Currently used as 2nd vehicle, soon to be DD when I move

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm sad about letting my 40 go this year, but luckily I still have my 60.

Nice job on the table! That looks great!

I'll take one for the team and be the first to say..."make a bunch and sell 'em." j/k

I don't mind the prairies so much as Ontario. It reminds me of a quote; Ontario is like Aunt Edna's ass, it goes on forever and is twice as scary. :)
