Are there any other options out there for bumpers for my 62 instead of ARB and TLC? I'm looking into having TAG build me a rear bumper, but would like to know if there's any others yall would recommend.

@reevesci just built me this rear.

I freaking love it! He'll make you pretty much what ever you can dream up and keep you updated literally every step of the way to ensure that you're 100% happy.

He also make nice front bumpers as well... anything really haha.

Great replies guys, thanks. These types are exactly what I'm looking for. Nothing against ARB, just see a lot of them.

You could always have them fabricated. :) Mine are made from 3mm sheet steel. CNC cut and bent and then welded and painted. They are very sturdy and you won't see a lot of these. :D

I ended up having @reevesci (Trail Tailor) build my bumpers and roof rack. He kept me posted almost daily with progress pics and updates, then shipped directly to a local powder coated for me. I bolted everything up by myself with ease thanks to his precise measurements. Would highly highly recommend him to anyone, he's got great designs of his own but is more than willing to replicate whatever style you want (my roofrack is the Gamiviti Expo rack design, but Jason made a few improvements to strengthen it). Here are some pics:

That rig is SO good looking. Needs a spare tire now though! :)

Got a matching one, I wanted to show yall how sturdy the swing gate and mount looked. Also, unfortunately, I live and work where people get their cat. converters hacksawed off in parking lots, and plenty of Jeeps have lost their spares. I keep it in the garage till I go have fun!

Jason, is pretty DAMN GOOD!!
great bumpers and rack your truck looks sweet!

And yes, they are 40 steelies. I didn't have to use spacers or long studs, they clear just fine. CruiserCorps is where I got the set.

Thanks! I have been looking for someone who could verify that they the 40 steelies would fit. Everyone said they "should" but no one I could find had actually tried it.

How was the rear bumper install? Did you have to remove the rear cross member or any rivets?

Yep, the rims worked just fine, no rubbing at all.

I did have to cut out the rear cross member and grind down a few rivets, Jason suggested putting a bottle jack and 2x4 between the frame rails in case of slight "collapsing", but the bumper mounts matched perfectly. He builds and installs them on his own FJ-60 (shows you in his daily updates) and he also sends detailed instructions w/ pics on what you need to do to prep your frame.
