Looks great J and great attention to detail as always. Any of the ML left over that you could use to paint the TOYOTA for the grill? Other option would be to go white with it.

Awesome!

Use kevin's welt for the lock strip. Makes for a better seal and gets rid of that gross chrome :D

That's what I have. Bought it a few months back along with his antenna kit again...

J, thought you were going with the non-OEM windshield gasket. I used Kevin's locking strip as well...the windshield corners was the only part that gave me any trouble installing. Silicone lubricant is definitely man's best friend for this job.

Glass guy that installed my glass refused to do it (he came to the paint place to remove and install the glass). was afraid of breaking it....I should have gotten a discount.

Did your guy use urethane under the windshield?

K, I requested the NON-lockstrip Precision gasket and ended up with the lock strip one... I'm impatient and said the HWI and had my guy install it since I had plenty of the WagonGear welting.

Yes, the glass was installed with sealant due to the ML texture, I DON'T want any leaks... The front is super tight and I doubt even without the sealer it would have leaked... Just extra insurance, IMO...

They have a "special" tool to install the lockstrip... Said it would take about 2 minutes per glass... Zeb will be back on Monday to finish it off.... I got 2 front Chevy/GMC DuraMax bumper builds out of the deal.. I passed out when I gave him a price and he whipped out his checkbook and paid me in full... OMG...

Hah! Yeah, I bought one of those special tools....all the other glass took me about 5 min max for each window. Windshield was going well too...until the last corner (of course)....that last corner took me 20 min....man, was so pissed off. That locking strip is the bomb btw (if you haven't used it before)....locks the gasket down so much tighter...love it.

good deal on getting more work out of it...well deserved....maybe you should have charged him more. HAH!

That is what Andrea said...... I have used the WagonGEar welt for the cargo and rear glass but never the front. I'll let ya know how they fair on the install....
