60 front brakes

I am building up a HJ60 axle to be swapped into my 98 tacoma. What are the usual upgrades for brakes. The discs are in rough shape and if i have to replace them might as well look at the other options.

Will the discs off the tacoma work?

i dunno if they'll fit. measure them with a caliper gauge.

and on a side note, my buddy got x1.5 book value(18k) from toyota for his 98 tacoma for frame rust recall, maybe you want to look into that before you start modding your truck. (yes thats $18000)

Search on 4runner brake upgrade - lotsa threads. Use new rotors: they're not that expensive (used to get Brembos pretty cheap but the distributor has gone to Mountain @ 43.81 US each which are Japanese IIRC).
