Hey everyone. New to mud. Thought I would share my 4runner. It’s. 2016 trail premium. Owned since 2017. Been doing travel nursing for the last 4ish years. Just got out of the game and took a perm spot at a hospital in Sam Diego. Just got a 2004 land cruiser too. Anyway here she is

Gas can makes it look like a pizza delivery at first glance!
Hahaha that’s great. Your right it does. I used to deliver pizza back in my college days too. That was from the Mojave trail. Didn’t even end up needed the gas but that was a long trip off road

I did that right after it opened in my FJ40. Was one of the original supporters but I joined too late to get in the book. My buddy (other Toyota) Mark Sutila made it. Went to the Camp Cady BBQ with my ex.

Wow super cool! Thanks for contributing. It was an amazing experience. Second night we camped at an abandoned cinder mine. Soo cool, had the whole place to ourselves

Don't remember that. Near Cima Dome? Our second night was at the campground in Afton Canyon=we took the railroad access road out rather than along the streambed.
It’s not a typical stop or in the guide books. We just were exploring/looking for a place to camp and found it. It’s by the lava tubes

Spent the weekend with the local TLCA club and got the truck dialed in and trail worthy. Installed:
- 1” Cornfed front spacer
- RCI steel skid
- 32” 255/75r17 C rated k02s

Lookin good :) and won’t get its ass kicked on the public trails now.

thanks! I'l be 74 in a couple of months. Will be finishing up the OBDR in June and doing the IDBDR starting in mid-August. Fly fishing MT & ID in July and hitting both the NWOR and BCOR the end of June. Slowing down isn't an option. :steer:

I would recommend that you install an aftermarket steel front skid plate to avoid a dangerous situation out on those trails. The OEM skid plate leaves the front diff exposed to rock impacts, which can even hit the engine and crack the oil pans. I was surprised how easily it happened out of the blue to me in December. This is rare, but can happen:
