5 speed auto and transfer breathers, where are yours? (1 Viewer)

My breathers on the turbo diesel run up to a bit of metal welded onto the tranny dipstick tube in the engine bay, but don't appear to have valves fitted and are open to water going into them when pressure cleaning or in deep creeks, where are yours located, and do they have valves on them or are they open, just with protection from downward running water? and if so, has anybody run them up higher to a filter or something like diff breathers?

I'll fire this up again, has anyone loked at their auto tranny and transfer case breather location and valves

Just put a filter on it and be done with it. I have not ever looked at mine but I can if you like
