I know it says Tundra but it should work for the 200 right?

look at the parts list- IC and low temp radiator

Toyota has officially listed the TRD Supercharger for the 5.7L Tundra in their “Parts Sales Guide.”

Here are the official specs: The 5.7 with the supercharger makes 504 HP and 550 lb-ft of torque. The list price for the entire kit is $5,875. Dealer cost is about $5,000 (but good luck buying one for that).

The total cost (including installation) is going to be around $6,800 - based on a labor rate of $105 an hour. If you’re trying to get a better price than MSRP, try negotiating off that installed price. Maybe the dealer will knock a little off since you’re doing the install with them.

Features:

Unique design fully integrated into the engine with the latest generation Eaton® Twin Vortices System (TVS) roots-type rotor pack.
The twin four-lobe rotors feature 160-degree twist improves air-handling, noise, and vibration characteristics
Kit includes:

High flow fuel injectors, single belt drive, and lower heat range iridium-tip spark plugs.
Water-to-air intercooler system with a custom low temperature radiator (LTR)
A new performance air Intake system is included in the kit with a TRD re-useable performance filter, Intake Flow Accelerator and a larger upper air box lid with a filter service gauge.
50-State emissions legal.
Power: 504hp up from 381hp / torque 550lb-ft up from 401lb-ft.

Installation: Installation time is approximately 9 hours with the first installation likely to take longer. Installation instructions are available on TIS. To aid in installation , TRD has developed a hoist mounting bracket that bolts directly onto the supercharger housing lid. The bracket is made from stamped steel and plated to prevent rust (PTR25-34070).

Engine calibration reflash is available through TIS using your scan tool or TechStream device. No other special tools or adapters are required.

Warranty: Warranty is the same as other TRD powertrain components: 12 months or 12,000 miles or the balance of the 5 year/60,000 mile new car powertrain warranty, whichever is greater, when installed by an authorized Toyota dealer. Superchargers installed by anyone other than an authorized Toyota dealer are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles. Specific warranty information is included with the supercharger

Sales Notes: This TRD supercharger is to be sold only as a dealer installed or over-the-counter option after retail sale of the vehicle. This supercharger may not be sold to the customer at the same time as the new vehicle and may not be financed together with the new vehicle.

I have been wanting to find out if this would work on the LC. If they don't list it directly for the LC I doubt Toyota would install it.

One of the issues will be the air intake...the same one used for the Tundra Supercharger will not fit into the engine bay of the LC. TRD will need to re-design something before this will be released for the LC200.

Patience.

123HP/149Ft-Lbs gain and IC, radiator, injectors... man that is such a wicked add-on and the cost is even reasonable! Hope they do adapt it for the 200, that is just stunning power

Something not mentioned above that I just saw was a Toyota bulletin about the increase in MPG. A letter from a Western Canadian Sales lead to techs and sales at my local dealership states that there could be as much as 3 MPG increase due to more efficient operation through the use of this Supercharger. Of course this has all kinds of stipulations...like how each user drives, and conditions, etc, etc.

The price I was quoted was under $7000 CDN installed, and it is a 9 hr job.

There is no release date set for the Sequoia, and no mention at all about the LC200.

Given this news, I am totaly in for one. I just can't wait until This is spec'ed up for the LC. 500+ HP and 550 Torque...that would be real nice!!!

Well I call TRD every month concerning this. They say that the way the one is for the Sequioa will not work for two reason.

1) The air box is positioned seperately. This can be fixed with some thought.

2) The programming of the supercharger chips for the sequioa is very different then the LC. This is something that seems to be only fixable by TRDM

So I won't be holding my breath!

1) A matter of moulding up a new airbox

2) I'm sure no more than one day of programming on the computer, one time.

Maybe if I call them monthly too, this might get a fire under thier a$$.

Talked with the TRD rep's at SEMA about this and they said the problem is more then mentioned above. It is the firewall in the LC/LX that at this time would interfer with the installation.

Well then I say get rid of that damn firewall. Who needs it!!! :flipoff2:

TRD can figure this out. Keep bugging them.

Any new info on this?

WHY DID YOU POST IN THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:

Sorry about yellin, I got so excited that there may be news, then realized no...it was quite deflating. :frown:

Sorry -- just didn't want to start a new thread for something that is kinda pointless at the moment. I was just wondering if anyone has any new info.

Anyone call TRD on this?

As mentioned above the TRD rep's said this is a very low priority. With the economy I doubt you will see one for years.

Sounds to me that if there is a firewall issue, we may never see one. Obviously, there are more users wanting to S/C a Tundra than an LC. But regardless of the economy, TRD should honor those who purchase their flagship vehicle. I'm not fond of excuses. Just make it happen.

Don't disagree just tellin you what they said.

As I understand, land cruisers were always low priority. Not to mention that nobody makes complete lift kits for 100 or 200 models.
