I have a 700R4. I havn't seen the two different transmissions side by side but I was under the impression they are the same.

My transmission is set off to the driver side a little to help with the clearance problem as well.

I would recommend making a call to Overthehill4x4 before modifying the pan.

Heres a couple its hard to tell but its really close I think its going to get the beat down tonight if I can get the shaft. I can always run it backwards just for 4 wheeling in the mean time as well. Did you have to do anything to get yours to clear? Did you just massage the pan a little or what? Did you have to shave the 1310?

I could run it but I'd have vibes above 35. I think I can get this thing to work.

PPFJ60 Do you have any pictures of yours.. I did offset my engine in anticipation of this. I ordered the 1310 cv this morning and I have an extra pan if necessary to work with. I'm hoping I can massage it in there. While i'm at it its getting a firmer shift kit for kicks.

I'm pretty sure that I remember James at OverTheHill4x4 mentioning using a mini truck CV for V8+700R/4L60E swaps. I could be wrong, it's been a while.

I ordered a 1310 as I couldn't get my hands on a mini cv here. I'll keep looking though i'm sure someones got one. If ppfj60 got a 1310 in there it must be possible. I offset my drivetrain a little as well.
