That should be 2 Hi.
Good knowledge..thanks, I was wondering that too...If your hubs are in you can go back and forth 2H - 4H on the fly, just let off the gas and shift. Going 4H to 4L, you need to stop. You can go 4L to 4H but it will clunk, better to stop. Getting out of 4L can bind, so back up a few feet to release the pressure then shift, bumping the clutch can help.
Thought as much, thanksIf its only a few areas pealing. Wire brush with power drill. Sand to feather the edge. Good prime coat or two, then paint. You could scuff up the whole surface and paint it all. Spray cans are great because you will touching it up often.
Oil soak metal doesn't hold paint. Needs burnt out with a torch IMHO first.
Thanks jim.
Thanks jim.
Leave it neutral for highwsy miles?
If you want to use Low in 2wd you can remove the shift gate. When I ordered my H55F and split transfer case it did not have one. They stopped making them and from what I understand and can be hard to find. I decided not to get one for mine.
Cool.Truck won’t move with the transfer case in neutral.
High range, 2WD for the highway.
