Just came in from my office and realized the wife registered us too! So that is one more spot available. Sent an email to the organizers to apologize for the confusion. She was supposed to be just on standby, and when I was furiously typing away to complete the registration and didn't answer my phone she went ahead and registered as well.
We are bringing our two kids, age 13 and 11. And our Siberian husky who is a rescue dog and won't tell us his age!
@ntsaint, a few weeks back I counted 50+ folks who said "I'm in" or some other variant of that. Add to that the 4 organizers and a few folks who didn't post and I thought for sure they would've gotten to 35 in the first few ticks of 5:00MST

wife and MAYBE the parents for a few trails.
Last year the whole family made the trip, that was me, the kids (5 and 3) + pregnant wife. We had a blast!
This time around will be just me in the truck. Been trying to get some cruiser buddies to come along but they are not sure on time off for a week.
I'll be leaving the tuesday before and returning the tuesday after.
Now is time to plan the days around the event!

Yea my daughter is 15 so at that age where it depends what mood she's in when the trip arrives.. That's kicksass that your taking your mom.

My 2 boys (13 and 10), maybe my wife, and I are planning on making the trip. Last year, a buddy from Chicago flew into Albuquerque and made the trip with us. He's on the fence this year about going. If he decides to go, my wife will gladly give up her spot. She's just not that into camping.
Mom is a tough old bird....she grew up on a farm so she should fit right in with the 100 crowd!

@Bloomer, my son will be happy to know he'll have some company. He likes our off-roading and camping trips much better if there are other kids along. The kids prefer going to campgrounds where there are other kids to run around with. The wife and I like some peace and quiet. But we also like the kids to leave us be from time to time
Anyone else from the east coast? I think there were at least a few last year. We are going to make a big trip of it. Stop at BIOR to get a jerry can holder for the rear bumper, stop at Slee for a front skid plate, pickup a rack from Gamiviti. Sprinkle some dollars across the Colorado economy. I'd like to do a few days in UT either before or after the event. Anyone up for a trip to the Swell?
