Well, it looks like Tim is putting together the 3rd annual Clean Up for 4Peaks Recreation Area.

Four Peaks Pickup 2010

As CSC allways has a great turnout of volunteers for this event, I don't doubt that this coming year will be any different. I'm definately in, and will be bringing several "volunteers" to assist as well.

I found out we were drawn for Javelina and the opening day is the 5th which means Saturday the 6th for me. If Dad doesnt feel up to it this year, I will plan on attending the clean up.

Funny thing: 1) we were drawn in unit 22 which is right in the area (and north) of where the clean up is. 2) Its more of a armed hike (and time spent together) for Dad, me and his 2 hunting buddies - I think we wouldnt really shoot one unless attacked :hillbilly:. Not the best eatin' :meh::p

As Claudia said earlier, we might make it this time, the gubmint willing.
But Cottonwood Camp is full of broken glass shards - might be good to be armed with some cheap kitchen tongs or similar equipment...

As well as goooood gloves! All that glass, rusty metal, misc. unmentionables and syringes...

This was reinforced today, the Cottonwood Camp/Cottonwood wash area is a mess.

If you want to arrange it, I agree with doing it.
 
Cool... I can work out the logistics of ammount with Tim. Just not my place to approve use of funds anymore and didn't want to commit us.
