4Lo light flashing intermittently - no other dash lights (1 Viewer)

Hi there. 2009 TLC with 146k miles here. I get a yellow flashing 4Lo light intermittently. No other dash lights except the yellow flashing 4Lo. All street/highway driving. Light is never on/flashing when I start it up and if it does appear it is after at least 15min of driving. If it does start flashing, it stays on until I turn the truck off. Finally, if it has been flashing and I turn the truck off and then turn it right back on, the flashing will stop.

I've searched but all I find are threads associated with the 4LO, check engine and DSC lights together.

Any insights on 4Lo flashing on it's own? Any help is appreciated.

Sometimes they both flash and sometimes just one flashes.

Read the threads on them both fleshing as it is the same issue.

From what I read it's a sensor issue.
Comes and goes on my 2011 LX with 145k miles. It started doing that around 120k miles.
Mine comes on when car is cold. After driving, once I restart it goes away.

Any reason to think a transfer case fluid replacement would do anything for this?

Unlikely.. I’d only do it if I were close to change interval already.
