This is interesting, and the first time I've seen this mentioned anywhere. Hopefully someone else with the know how can make this work. Not going with a Luxury on my 23' is the only regret that I've had since purchase simply due to the lack of CC/MTS.
Man it sure would be nice to have this solved. Would really love to have a sand mode. But also having the KDSS light on at all times kind of blows.

I feel your pain brother. Been living with the AFS light on for 5 years now.
And ever since I had to replace my ECU, my rear air suspension light is on now too.
I did 2019 Crawl Control using a custom 4 button small dual switch from CH4X4 to adjust speeds and the downhill assist switch to enable/disable.
You need wires about 36 inches long to reach the spot above the center lock switch.

Mine is a 2019 and felt too nice to drill holes for normal round momentary button switches.

I was originally going to use a dual momentary rocker switch, but they were like $15 + shipping at digikey and didnt have labels. This was $30 more and seems worth it.
