Had this built for a customer, cannot take the blame as I have no clue when it comes to interior work.

All stainless fitting and aluminum slides and bows.

Might be driving it to Pismo from Vancouver Island and sleeping in the back.

I love the soft side tops on 45 trucks! Is that the truck you put the HZ into?

Yes it is, should be a fun ride down.

Very cool, looks great! It would look even better with some stock wheels and hubcaps. ;)

That is fantastic.

Great look.

Very nice Rob. I am thinking along those lines for a top for my 45. Glad to have a cheat sheet now though. I will see you in Pismo.
Gary

Gary,

If you can...please take a ton of photos and measurements if possible. I love the look of that top. If I have something to go off of I could sew one of those up as well ;)

Thanks, Matt

Rob,

Do you have any more detailed photos you could post up...that top is very nice. I would love to fab one up for my 45.

Maybe pics of the channels, how they fasten? Zippers, types of stiching in that area. Grommets around where the top fastens to the box. Did they make those bows or find something already bent up?

Thanks, Matt

Rob, there is a 'local' named Dave Berry [not sure of his MUD username; I think it is 66LV] that has a 45lwb with bows and canvas and has brought it out to SNT a couple of years in a row now. He might bring it again this year, and you can compare notes with him.

Then again, now that his LV is done, he may not bring the lwb. Might try PMing him to see if you can 'influence' his decision.

Best

Mark A.

That and a white roof, I know I know.

Customers request.

Not sure its going due to importing through the boarder, should know tonight. Day before the trip, this was a last minute attempt.

Thanks for the kind words, of course I did not build it but I am really pleased with the outcome.

Gary, hope to see you with or without the FJ45, I have my diesel 81 as a backup.

Matt, can take more detailed pics and post up after this weekend.

Mark, again as mentioned if the fj45 does not arrive I hope to be thier anyhow.

Rob

That is by far one of the most beautiful 45's I have seen! When I win the lottery I'm sending you one to build for me:D
