My right turn signal cycles, but when i hit my left turn it just comes on and stays on...any ideas, bulb?
Yep, doesnt blink...and its a 76
You mean it doesn't blink? That's a ground problem.
Early turn signal assemblies (pre-09/72) are not the same as the later style (09/72 and on) in that, they mount differently and the switch mechanism is mounted on the steering column differently. The earlier style uses a pin on the switch body to align it with the column and one screw on an integrated clamp affair to keep it secured. Sometimes this screw can back out, causing the switch to no longer be indexed on the column and to be loose, creating a situation where the switch is not fully activated by the remote turn signal linkage that runs parallel with the column to the switch. This can make a turn signal indicator lamp, along with the front and rear directional lamps to light up, but the system to not flash in one direction or the other.
