Who has it and do you like it? Quality? Corrosive resistant? I really like the idea of a high lift jack going on too. Another thought is it would help put some weight on the back for a little better ride.

Sent you a PM...

Very happy with mine. Only complaints are that the basket could be slightly larger for a 5 day cooler and the powder coating is brittle like all of MAF's powdercoated products (I have 3 diff MAF poweder-coated products and it all starts to chip/flake off at some point).

Otherwise, well thought-out part.

I have one, and it works very well.. I have come down hard on rocks on it, and it's still ticking..

I have to agree on the powder coating.. Put some jerry cans in the basket and in no time the PC flakes off...

Don't know much about them Mike but from what I've seen I like them a lot....

Heres one that the cooler rack was removed and a utility box added....Really sweet setup....Holds more than you can imagine.....Belongs to 73fj40lc here on Mud...About a mile from my house....

is there an overall pic of that?

No...I feel like an idiot....thought I had a good pic.....I can go by and snap a pic though....I'll see if he's home and go around today if you'd like.....He's an engineer with the railroad so he might be on the rail somewhere....

That utility box came from somewhere like agri supply or tractor supply or something like that.....Its packed with recovery gear, etc....

No. Don't do that. Thanks though.

Here's a question: Does anyone know if they sell a basket for the driver side?

I'd like to get 2 baskets off the back...

cheers,

YZF...call them up and ask. After I'd purchased mine I called back and asked if they made a bigger basket. They do and they would have added some upcharge when making mine to construct a slightly larger basket. At some point I'll get a larger basket...

But I would think they would send one out with 2 baskets. Do you not carry a spare?

I have to fully agree on the power coating. To be fair though I have never had any luck with any powercoat. I do not care for powercoat at all. It is a simple fix though. If you look at the pic that ocdbeetle posted of my bumper you can see where I used bedliner on it. Looking at it you would not know that it wasn't made that way. It came out great and I haven't any problem with rust. These bumper's are absolute top quality minus the powercoat. I have a 4" skyjacker lift on my 40 and the added weight on the rear made my 40 ride a whole lot better. I was amazed at the difference it made. These bumpers are extreemly heavy duty. Very satisfied overall.

Thanks for that info... I PMed Steve-o to see what he says..

I usually carry a spare, but since you can remove the swing-outs it would be nice to have options.. ;)

(I always carry tire plugs, and a Co2 tank, so I'm covered if I puncture a tire, or pop a bead.)

I have more items powder coated inside and outside my vehicle than I care to count. I've never had an issue with chipping. I've used a 2x4 and a sledge hammer to reposition powder coated parts and there was no chipping. Like anything, prep is critical. It has to be media blasted and there cannot be any oil residue of any kind, not even finger prints. Removing powder coat from properly powder coated hardware is a bitch. The most effective way to remove powder coating is probably an acid bath which cannot be used on all metals. The powder coat houses here in Tucson normally media blast the Powder coating and shoot over it. At Raytheon Missile Systems Company we regularly used powder coating on numerous missile components because it was a coating that could stand up to the environmental conditions of a missile in flight (we also used ceramic and specialty coatings that would not be appropriate for 4x4 components due to cost and availability).

I have the 4+ bumper in question, but mine came painted. It's been great-bashed into rocks numerous times, carries 3 cans of gas easily for long duration trips, really a great unit. All powder coating and paint comes off, it's normal. The nice thing about black paint is that you can touch up with a rattle can in 5 minutes.
