Too far north. Too far east.
Are these gears available? From where? How much?

Christo may still be able to get OEM Toyota 4.56 gearsets. The quality is superior and so is the price. ::) (That is not because of who is selling them, rather where they came from) ;)

Dan, I checked the EPC and the best the book listed was 4.10. Since 4.56 are available OEM can you get them for me? One of Randy's suppliers listed them (Yukon Gear) so at least I can get them from someplace. Slee was the first place I checked and they didn't catalog online any diff stuff.

4.56 is not an 80 series ratio and as a result was not imported into the US. It is likely from a 70 or 78 series vehicle. Christo has imported them privately. IF I had a part number I may be able to off-line order them. That process takes 8-12 weeks and I have to wait for the sticker shock to find out the price. I believe Christo was able to sell the 4.56 sets for a bit less than what Toyota wants for stock 4.10's in the US. It would likely cost the same or more for 4.56's that are off-line ordered as it does for 4.10's.

I'll call ya. That was the clue I needed. 4.56 were used on PZJ70/73/75. This series used the same carrier as the 80 series (41101-60090). BTW, gear part number is 41201-69335. Open carrier with gears 41110-60400. Carrier with DL 41110-60560.
