Good engine choice lloyd, did the same myself. Pretty straight forward and now the Bundy cant stop doing wheelies!

Did my diff yesterday though. New one was in by 10am this morning :)

Did you break your differential or your axle?

A Yank "diff" = an Aussie "diff centre"
An Aussie "diff" = a Yank "axle"
:D

Bundy is what the Light Duty 70 series is called in Oz. RJ7x or LJ7x. By the time the KZ engine comes out, they've stopped selling them as the Bundera. Now they sell them as the Prado.

Is this 79 series still around and going

sorry for delayed reply.

just logged in after almost a year.

its been at the tuners workshop for a year over and according to the tuner it 'd be done by June 2010.

I 've installed an Opcon SC twin-screw-type so naturally I had to install a stand-alone (Haltech) to make-up for greater fuel requirements.

I'll post some older pictures of it and latest one soon.

Both pictures were taken sometime in November 2008. Tuners been busy with smaller in-line 4 rice rockets although his business picked up because my trucked was parked at his workshop.

will post latest pictures of some visual progress. Should be about June 2010 before the truck hits the roads again. :)

this is defently my ideal cruiser ute 10/10

That looks great.

What sort of performance are you expecting out of the engine, and have you done any other mods to it other than the supercharger and Haltech EMS?

I'd love to put one in a Bundera one day.

the rear leaf suspension was converted to coil suspension although the setup is less than ideal currently. links and coils were from a 100 series cruiser.

the V8 & coil conversion took place in March 2003, purchased SC in 2004. Took 3 years to locate a shop that would do all the work. Btw, the "sc kit" wasn't a kit after all, tremendous amount of custom work had to be done to fit into the engine bay.

Auto transmission was sent to adelaide ( can't recall the shop ) for reinforcements then shipped back to North Borneo.

Have a set of low comp pistons for future upgrades as well.

boost is stock at 6psi, above 12 psi- the snout and belt needs to be replaced for that application.

Thanks :)

Do you have any pics of the rear suspention set up mate?

tried taking shots of it earlier this afternoon but direction of the 4pm sun didn't help so will try tomorrow when i pass some stuff to the tune.

its basically the same setup as a 80 or 105 series cruiser thats been grafted on. However, the welder who did it in 2003 didn't do a great job ( i traded a set of volvo portal axles for the coil conversion ) .

will post em up soon.

got pictures of the rear suspension but not sure how to load them because it says "picture exceeded quota"

Any luck with posting pics again mate

Salut! I am very surprised, how did you mate 1uz with H151F, if 1uz lexus block is absolutely other form than a bellhousing on H151F.
(pardon my english)

Ok, i got it. This is a factory adapter with part nbr. 31011‑60010. The bellhousing have a window in a right side, so it's come from the right-handed UZJ100L with 2uz. But how that adapter from 2uz could fit to 1uz?. Are this two blocks have the same bolt patterns?
