Here's a pic of the PS exhaust manifold from when I replaced mine. It was cracked almost half way around. DS was fine though:meh:

I didn't have time to snap a pic today, but mine was cracked similarly....so i guess that with time, heat, and pressure may make a diamond with coal...but after 13 years.. does not fair well on a LC Header!

I'm guessing you'll be waiting awhile for EMS's header dyno results. There's a good deal on a set of DT's in the classifieds. I hoping one of you will buy them so I don't have to! The wife already told me no more until next year, that was before the catback and some touch -up paint. I'm pushing it already.:p

I can't find the Classified section where this header is at. Do you have a link for it?

You can find the link and contact info further back in this thread

A quick question about these Headers.

They changed to 304 SS, is that correct?

Do they still Ceramic Coat them now that they are 304 SS?

May I ask what does AHC stand for and how can you determine if that is installed. I have an 2001 LX470 and wanted to change the DS exhaust manifold. Your article and information is a great help.
Thanks

AHC stands for Adjustable Height Control and is installed on all LX470's.

Next time, for something like this, just search.

AHC is the hydraulic adjustable suspension. It was standard equipment on all LX470s. However, some people replace it with coils when it breaks so it's not always functional.
