Got the idea from one of the guys on ClubLexus. I figured for $30 and some time, if I didn't like it I could peel it off. Still have some dash trim and the door panels to do, but I really like it. I also ordered a black piano wood steering wheel to go with it.

It's an entire steering wheel, they look amazing. Very popular on the 4Runner forums. I wasn't sure how well it would fit a GX, but if it does then I may look into going that route as all the leather on mine is worn pretty bad.

This is RCsGX on Club Lexus. He's got a really beautiful truck. They say imitation is the best form of flattery, right?

nice, so where did you get the trim pieces

That looks good but i must say i really like the factory woodgrain. One of the main reasons i dont like the sport package is the center console just doesnt look as nice to me. If there was a version with the black wood grain for the center though...

@BlackCat : How difficult is the application? I am on the wood hater side and would love to do something like this, I am just a bit afraid that it wouldn't turn out that great if I did it myself.... lol What's the application process like? Does it require a bunch of heating and moulding/forming?

It's time consuming, but pretty easy. You don't need a heat gun or anything, it's pretty forgiving. Obviously corners and weird angles are a bit tricky, but totally manageable.
