Oh sweet, I didn't know he was here. IIRC, he mentioned using a heat gun or a hair dryer to apply his. I found it easier to apply without one. The wrap is pretty stretchy without it.

It's not that I think it would peel, because I don't. No matter how it was applied there would always be a line, you can't hide it on a wheel.New finish looks pretty good on the center console, new steering wheel is the only option to match the color as this layer would simply peel off from the steering wheel surface.
Or really any other factory Lexus part for that matter.$300 for a color matched steering wheel. It looks cool, but I never want anyone wanting this to complain about the price of new drive shafts! lol
It's actually MUCH thicker than the factory wheel was, and feels to be way better quality. Hell, I have over $2,500 in wheels and tires alone, $300 is nothing for something that I'll see/use every day. For people like you and I who have a ton of money tied up in our trucks, I figured it was really reasonable.true!
Looking for the brown wood that is in the tan interiors, like this:Use the eBay link I provided on the first page and see if they can make one with tan leather instead. Would you still want the black wood?
I hear ya. Shoot them an email and see if they have an option that may work for you. If they don't, you're only out a few minutes of time.Looking for the brown wood that is in the tan interiors, like this:
