My 1990 FJ80, part time, manual transmission. With factory rear tire carrier, roof rack, f/r lockers and PTO winch. All stock and use Toyota parts for maintenance. =)

With the 5.29s I havent relly lost that much. Built it to offroad. They say Speed kills!

403,000 miles + with no end in sight. That's what the 3FE is all about. :)
Mar. 1991, Chocolate on beige, center diff lock only :(
Issues? We all have issues.
No front seat heat. Rear works fine. I'm clueless.
No AC (PSF leak killed gasket).
CEL.
Very minor rust on rear window frame.
No bright lights! (Well technically I have them, but only when I pull the turn signal, not when I push it.)

1992 3FE aka Land Crusher

1992 built 9/91 with 187K miles. Stock, daily ride. Replaced radiator with aftermarket all metal. Optima yellow top. Cooper tires. Reese Hitch. Had EFI relay issues - terminal cleaner seemed to be the cure. Keep spares in glove box.

Current Issues: leaky oil pan. In need of exhuast system --looking as stainless. Need freon recharge. No pickup. Occasional sunroof leak. Rust, rust, rust. It is showing its age, but it hard to part with.

91' 283,000 miles, it's my short bus at the moment! Four kids wife and me! When we all go some where it's what gets us there. Last week we went on vacation to Arkansas, we have family there, no problems other than the a/c quit while there! Whew it is hot in Arkansas in June! We also pulled our popup camper with us, so I am very happy with my beloved cruiser. Here it is at home with my 35" Boggers on down in my woods.

And here it is last summer in Moab Utah on the potash trail. We drove 5,100 mile last summer on vacation. We also have a set of 31" bfg at on our stock wheels. I can't wait to go back to Moab, wheelers paradise!

Cruise control is out, CD and Tape player don't work.
Don't worry about speeding tickets any more.
Future upgrades - front and rear bumpers, winch, lift, new audio!!!
Use as DD and family camper (minus wife - just kids!)
Last pix was rotating tires (wanted to see 24"s on an FE!!! - J/K)

1995 FJ80

190,000 miles on our Bone stock 1995 FJ80
everything works except power seats but the plugs are on order and I am looking forward to my knees no longer eating the dash.

We are in Honolulu HI and use the truck for domestic duties, and the odd beach run/rock crawl.

1991 FJ80

224k mi, just purchased for $1000. I am in the process of base lining. Looks like I am going to have to replace the pan gasket and do some AC troubleshooting. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions.

92 fj80 bought it last winter for 1500, the body was in very poor shape, i fixed it , dumped money into paint parts and fun and it runns and looks great, 278,000 on it , so am i the champ? ... just learning about the rig and having a blast.. always looking for parts if any one knows a hook up that would be great
