3FE Fuel in oil

Hey guys,

Long time listener first time caller...

Have fuel in my oil, changed oil ~1000 miles ago and now oil is above full line (was below for several days before commuting for a week)

Seen a few people post about this but no real resolution. Some say leaky injector, some say PCV valve is clogged, some say fuel pump.

Some of the things done recently...
Timing, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, MAF from a 1993 carolla, all new vacuum lines (blown all hardlines with brake clean), oil change, fuel filter change, o2 sensors, air filter

Oil that was in it when purchased was 20w-50, replaced with 5w-40 rotella since I've been in cold weather mostly so far (<40°F).

Got about 266k miles and I wanna run this thing until it blows before converting to diesel and want a nice balance between cheap and longevity in the interim. Any suggestions? Should I just do all of these? Is there an easy way to see if an injector is leaking? Cold start injector? Think my rings are bad?

Also has rough idle... should timing be advanced and if so any recommendations to that???

Im no 3fe guy but lots of good info here.

When you say should i just do all these things what things are you referring to? Sounds like the listed maintenance has already been performed.

You should be able to listen to see if an injector is firing .... with a leak it may not click as audibly. Kinda a shot in the dark but maybe put a stethescope on all six and compare ?

I feel this has been discussed so hold tight for some more help and keep searching as well. If you dont have it look for the 3fe tuneup guide by @jonheld and give it a good read. Shoot print it out and stick it in the glove box.

Are you positive that it is fuel getting into the oil and not coolant?
Are you loosing coolant?

If there's fuel in the oil, that's going to mix together the beer with the urine.

Was the vacuum system. Passed flying colors.
