Long time listener first time caller...
Have fuel in my oil, changed oil ~1000 miles ago and now oil is above full line (was below for several days before commuting for a week)
Seen a few people post about this but no real resolution. Some say leaky injector, some say PCV valve is clogged, some say fuel pump.
Some of the things done recently...
Timing, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, MAF from a 1993 carolla, all new vacuum lines (blown all hardlines with brake clean), oil change, fuel filter change, o2 sensors, air filter
Oil that was in it when purchased was 20w-50, replaced with 5w-40 rotella since I've been in cold weather mostly so far (<40°F).
Got about 266k miles and I wanna run this thing until it blows before converting to diesel and want a nice balance between cheap and longevity in the interim. Any suggestions? Should I just do all of these? Is there an easy way to see if an injector is leaking? Cold start injector? Think my rings are bad?
Also has rough idle... should timing be advanced and if so any recommendations to that???
