3FE 90 Amp upgrade, round 1 failed (10 Viewers)

We recently did a couple of hours on attempting the 150-amp Sequoia alternator for the 3FE.
My alternator went bad, got it to Yotamasters and upon searching for a new alt we discovered that Toyota has disco'd the factory alt and Denso does not have a replacement referenced. While Yotamasters can source 8 different alternators for a 85-pickup in Corona, Ca on any single day, this day, only one alternator for the 3FE 92-TLC was available in Corona from a local parts store.
We paid the full price so we can keep my core for later reference. We pulled in the Sequoia alternator and noticed there will have to be a mount modification. I found my saved thread that PhotoMan started and discovered he makes brackets! Emailed him and he only makes the mounts for '93+.
