Ended up 6th overall in enlisted class. The strategy of crushing each real task is not enough. ;)

Izzy and crew did an outstanding job and made the event. Thank you Izzy and his team of volunteers.

I volunteered Friday and Saturday, just a few shots

Thank you for Volunterrimg. That perimeter hill was insane.

Let’s ride mountain bikes some time soon.

Some photos of event! It was amazingly exhausting

Looks like fun! I saw a bunch of pics that the event posted on Instagram, was kind disappointed not enough Cruisers!! just stupid jeeps lol

A little bit, a little bit. But hey, we got our friends Scott and Ashley some exposure. Organizers where very impressed, it was one of the coolest things they got to do.

They are doing episodes. This is the best one yet. The 80 was the only truck to drive up perimeter hill that I know of that day. The video guy miseed the beginning when we were doing a wheelie up that hill. See last 15 seconds of the video.

Episode 3 - BFGoodrich 36 Hours of Uwharrie

Awesome. I didnt make it up at Appalachian Rendezvous. Winch cable or bypass for all that day.

There is (or was) a unique line to the hill, stay left as long as possible, aiming for the big rock. A bit of speed and 2nd gear start helps a lot too. Then right before the rock a quick sharp right gets you over the roots and you clear it. No lockers. The hill has been worn down a lot by the "got to do lockers man" people. That way they can't turn and end up on just spinning tires.

FAKE NEWZ!!!
You have to have have it locked Izzy. An 80 won't make it up that hill.

Man... you should have seen the large number of people at Overland Expo, trying to drive in the mud and just going sideways. All locked, because they got lockers. Some people just will never learn.

Looks dry. You made that look easy.

@Izzyandsue Please explain. I've thrown all my tricks at muddy hills multiple times without success before turning that magic dial for lockers and making it up. High speed dry running start with unlocked wheels spinning and no progress vs slow speed dry locked high revving success. What am I doing wrong?
