If the measurement difference from the wheel lip to the hub is not more than 1.5" difference from the back end to the front, that should be about right. Your truck looks too high in the front. 33's shouldn't rub.

BH3D PrintingSweet rig. Dig the badge on the front grill and the sleek front bumper. That grill and badge may be on Santa’s list for next year!
I think you will be most happy with the 33s... 35s are a can of wormsDecided to stick with the 33s. Shop had just not set front lift right so had reverse rake. Looked terrible and I’m sure would have driven worse. They fixed it and I’m all good. Thanks for all the help and direction.
Food for thought: consider availability of spares. 275/70/18 if fairly common and finding a spare is very much likely when out in the hinterlands. To put that into perspective:
Discount Tire A/T and M/T options combined
275/70-18 (33") = 53 total options
295/70-18 (34") = 18 total options
285/75-18 (35") = 10 total options
305/70-18 (35") = 6 total options
As an overlander, I'd rather take my chances rolling on the 275/70/18 1st and then a 295/70/18 2nd as spares are more easily found.
And
285/70-18 (33.6") = 4 total options
295/70-18 (34") = 18 total options - and no BFG's in this size - interesting.
295/70-18 = 34.2 inches = does this fit without body lift and pinch weld modification?
I have the 295/70 ridge grapplers. I had to beat down the pinch weld(alot), and trim back the liner. Then replace the liner after it got chewed up. But it fits. Barely. I am pretty sure this is the biggest you can go without major surgery, IE body lifts, or rubbing. It still rubs a tiny bit but only in the most extreme cases.
I am planning on sticking with this size.
