Glad to hear they're working out for you.
My sneaks just arrived too. Can't wait to try them out.

With either size, or any of the sizes mentioned, I would also look at the newest BFG MT, MT KM2. Sweet in the rocks, mud and snow and much better than the old MT's on the highway. They took their crawler design and crossed it with the MT's. NICE HOOPS!!!

I'm running Goodyear 12.50x33x15s.

If the rear wheel wells are not cut, the 12.50s are not the best choice without a SOA. Clearance is minimal, and chains WILL rub when going through bumps and ruts.

If the rear wheel wells are cut, then no problem, other than clearance can be tight if you chain up the front wheels. Heavy truck chains on my front tires barely clear steering components and the springs.

The 10.50s are a better choice. If my 12.50s were worn out, I'd go to 10.50s, but they've only got a few thousand miles on them, so I'm stuck for the foreseeable future.

I am partial to the 33X9.50's, but there are very few options in that size anymore.

bfg

What do you think of a bfg MT 35x12.5x15 on a '8' wheel for a 4inch lift fj40. Any picture would help.

I have Good Year MTR 33x12.5x15 and luv'em, but I will change them for BFG 33x12.5x15 Muds when they're shot.
I got 4 of them at a very good price, but couldn't find a 5th - so the spare is a BFG

I have a 4" lift so I dont have any rubbing issues

I too, like the 33x9.5's "pizza cutters". Made picking lines in the rocks real easy and still aired down nicely, although I prolly don't go as low as some (~13psi) for sand.

I wish we had some more choice for 35x10.5's. I think the TSR's are it and I've never tried them, too scared to throw down the cash for a tire that only lasts 20k miles.
