Check these Kenda RTs….33x9.50-15 next to my 255/85-16s.

I’ll pull some real numbers later. Nice and round and quiet.

Mounted on the truck they were dead nuts 32” tall at 34 psi

The 255/85-16 has about a 3/4” height advantage over the 33x9.50-15

Hey Everyone!

I’m a newbie to this forum and thread. Working on an all original 76 FJ40 and doing my research. It looks like the vibe is the 33x10.5x15 BFG is slightly smaller than 33” dia. With that said, can the group chime in if the tires will rub with a bone stock suspension? I don’t want to lift it and I want to keep the original 15 inch wheels. I’m also liking the Kenda Klever RT’s.

Have we determined that the Toyo MT is the tallest 33x10.5? Anyone have the Kenda 33x10.5 measurement? I wonder if they are the same as the 33x9.5?

I’m in a tough spot. My 33”x 10.5” x 15” MTs are getting up there in age and starting loosing air. I went to Town Fair yesterday just to start pricing the BFG 33”x10.5 ”x 15” KM3 and they were out of stock with no eta.
Of course the 35”x 12.5“ x 15” size was available but that changes the game. I love the stock wheels as Im old school, but would love to go bigger. Getting them widened doesn’t seem worth the money. I have the 4” TPI lift with extended shackles in the back so I have room. Should I consider something other then the KM3?
