Anybody running Cooper Discoverer STT? I'd be interested to hear their sizes once mounted and see any pics that anyone has.

I thought someone posted those a few pages back

@Anthony Miller How are you liking the X3’s? Any photos on the truck?
I love them so far. They’re a little louder than the KM2’s I had before but it’s not terrible. I have about 4K miles on them and the noise hasn’t changed at all. So far I have used them on snow, ice , gravel, and light mud. I mostly trail ride on old logging type roads and they seem to have a little better traction than the KM2’s. I will say, the KM2’s I’ve had in the past took less weight to balance but the at may be because these X3’s are considerably heavier than the BFG’s.

Those look promising, wonder how they would perform on a much heavier FJ60?
Poorly unless they stamp out some DOT compound in the same size with a higher load rating

@Anthony Miller Thanks for the pics. IIRC those tires are like 10+ pounds heavier than the BFG MT. That doesn’t scare me. I’m honestly considering these tires on stock wheels. I still have my stock wheels. Got 33x10.5x15 BFG AT KO2 on aftermarket 15x8’s right now. It looks good but I miss the stock wheels. Because shiny.

Any chance you have a head on shot of the tire so I can see the width? Mucho appreciated sir!

really? dang my tire guy has been misleading me saying i need at least a 8 inch wheel for the 10.5 tire. I want to run these on my fj62...
Absolutely they are. Pick another shop

Walmart, Discount Tire and most all national chains will refuse to mount the 10.5 on the 5.5 due to liability.

Any good 4x4 shop/Indie shop will mount them up...and the 10.50 on the 5.5 is pretty much the majority standard for 40 Series trucks still on the road.

It's the combo on my 1989 4Runner as well...

This 40 I’m working on came in with some dopey Mud Claw 33x12.50-15

They measure a whopping 31” mounted on 15x8 steel spokes

Update. I had a set of KM3s on 40 Steelies I just sold. Mounted on the truck they were 32” tall. A full 1.5” taller than the first set I purchased the year they were released. Maybe BFG got the message and fixed the mold?

Damnit! Now I want to buy another set…

My 7.5R16’s are just shy of 31… aside from that, I’ve been really impressed with in/off road performance.

Yeah I had a set of those and they were tiny.

Looked good in this non lifted 45 with no driveline though
