1969 FJ40 3 speed column shift (on the tree), looking for a part number to the shifter linkage ball joints (metric)

Are you asking about something like AA or U?

I can't recall which one is which but these are the two different numbers. One is left hand threaded and the other regular. Represented as AA / U in the image above.

I just bought 4 of these from SOR. They are not exactly identical to the OEM but very close and are good quality.

Curious: where are you getting yours?

I called 2 Toyota dealerships and 6 auto parts stores locally without success. So I guess I’m buying from the internet?

I bought five of each a few weeks ago from the local dealer. They had to order them but no issues.

I used my old paper parts books this morning and ordered 3 of each of the above # for my FJ45LV.

....then this post pops up(never came up in my searching)

if I had seen this thread it would have saved me hours of chasing part # ......lol
