3.7 thirds

Anybody have 3.7 thirds from a 60 they would be willing to part with? Looking to swap out my dd fj40 4.11s...

Next time I'm in the shop I can count them up. I've got some 3.7 and some 4.11. But I don't remember how many of each. I only need two (maybe 3) 3.7s.

It'll be a week or two before I can check.

I have a FJ60 rear third that is 3.7. I have to pull it at some point to put in the third with 4.88's and locker anyway.

Hey guys, sorry I totally forgot I posted this! I am still interested, but will be in Alaska until March 3rd. Since I have an early 40 with course spline, does the 60 swap just entail swapping my course spline side gears and getting an appropriate pinion flange?

Also, does anybody want a rough shape pair of 40 fenders that can be repaired/modified? They are free to anyone...

what year 40? most of the coarse splines were on the outer ends, unless it's really early(like early 60's). do you have it all apart already? if nothing else, I think side gears swapped should work. all other dimensions in the 3rd should be the same. if you take mine and it doesn't work, I'd take it back. no problem.

Its a 74 40...I've done a axle rebuild before but can't remember the inner axle spline count...outer is definitely course

The axles are off the truck but not opened up yet as I'm currently working other stuff

by 74, i'm pretty sure the inners are all the same fine spline.
