As much as I hate to say at this early of a date, I am out on this ride. I have a business trip that got rescheduled, and I am now out of town from September 12-October 5.

Damnit! Oh, well. At least there will be one fewer "Non-70 series" rig. LOL. I was actually looking forward to using my tow strap... :worms:

You know if you didn't think the 40 Series would make it you could of just said so. :)

Hard to kill a tractor!

LOL

I haven't worked on a farm since I was a teenager but I thought tractors had Diesel engines. :rimshot:

The Ford 8N, the Toyota Land Cruiser of tractors, was gasoline powered (it may even be said that the Toyota Land Cruiser is the Ford 8N of 4 wheel drive vehicles). My grandfather had one. It may even still be in the family someplace and still on the job.

I'm not old enough to remember tractors of that era.

I just got off the phone with one of my cousins and grandpa's 8N at close to 70-years-old is still working in the field. It has yet to be "rebuilt".

Can I make my tractor comment again, since professor Dan has confirmed it?

Dan, I'm trying to make a sarcastic point with the young lad from Tennessee and you keep interjecting logic and facts which is making my task more difficult. :)

Sorry. :hillbilly:

I believe that would be considered a "cultivator" due to the close-set canted front wheels. In which case it would not be a "tractor" and therefore not included in the event.......:)

You have a month.....Chop-chop!.....:)

I didn't realize that by making the tractor comment to chide señor Charles I was creating a serious hijack. It has been entertaining. @cruiserdan is on his tractor "A game" for sure...

You are more than welcome to bring the tractor of your choice as long as it is pulled by a 70 SERIES.

Although we will have the largest variety of 70 Series models attending this year, we are still missing a LJ78 from this years lineup. If you own a 78 Series come join us. (I'll buy the first round). :)
