By all means!! (Even a FJC) :)

I know, it'll stick out like a sore thumb among all the 70s! But, it'll wheel and the 60 may still be under the knife if I don't have time to finish rebuilding the steering gearbox before the the trip.

Looking forward to it and hoping the fall weather shows up soon!

If I remember correctly there was a FJC in Cullman last year and performed very well on the trails.

Yes there was, wasn't me though. They are very capable, I just prefer taking my 60 since the FJC is my daily driver. My 60 is no show car, it's came with dents and rust when I bought it, so I worry less about breakage and body damage. I also think the 60 is just a little more fun!

Normally the FJC table is a piece of plywood and 4 concrete blocks but for you we'll try to upgrade your accommodations. :)

hi. iv got a land cruiser 75 series 1hz and it has no pulling and speed doesnt go more 100kmph. i knew my engine was opend a few times and it needed a rebuild so i decided to buy a almost new 1hz engine for a toyota land cruiser 79 series. after i changed my engine the problem was still there. i changed my nozzles and serviced my injector pump fully. any idea what can be the problem?

To quote the local farmers, "boys we are in the short rows" so it's time to fuel up the ole Cruiser, throw a few t-shirts in the back and head to East Tennessee in little over a week.

Yes. I will be driving up on Thursday AM, hoping to arrive slightly after noon and pre-run a couple of trails. Thanks to a friend (who drives a lesser rig) I have some decent, recent local knowledge and have a pretty good line on trails for Friday and Saturday. Friday will be less crowded so I encourage everyone who can to make the Friday trail ride.

Unlike last year, the area we will be riding is very expansive and we will not be making it back to camp / hotels for lunch, so everyone should come prepared to eat lunch on the trails. I will try to post up more info on Sunday.

For now, I would suggest that everyone that is attending PM me and @1978HJ45 with your cell number so we can reach out via text when we are in the area.

I am looking forward to this trip like I cannot describe!

The red line illustrates the "advanced" trails while the black line is associated with the moderate trails. :)

The wife will be with me, any other significant others going? This is her first off road adventure. She will be manning the cb/ham

You may be one of the few that will have commo gear ... I know I don't have any in my 74 yet ... :-(

I have Verizon and they are 4G everywhere. Says so in the brochure.

Little $40 HAM radios work great.

No need for dated CB.

I have one ... somewhere ... have not found it since my move. No license to operate yet ...

I am bringing my 8yr old daughter.
We are camping with @ufg8r and last I heard he was bringing wife and kids.

My new Marlin bling is in the t case. Can't wait to give it a good run.

We ran HAM radios recently and no license was needed. Something about certain frequency we used... I have it saved in my radio and will post up.

Everyone still has time to get a cheap one from Amazon if they want. Makes life a little entertaining on the trail :-)

Yup, my better half will be with me.

Will bring my ham and maybe a couple HT radios. If the 60 is ready to go will have CB too. Definitely adds some fun to the ride

I'll be heading up I75 on Thursday and hope to reach East Tennessee by 4:00-5:00pm. My cell number is two two nine -221-8606. Feel free to call Thursday or Friday if you need more information.
... Charles
