Does New Belgium at 2:00 work for you guys? Highlands was 2nd on the list for the Hawaiian Lounge Release

Sounds great. We may hit Urban Orchard for the Mrs. before, White Duck Taco Shop for lunch, maybe. Is Wedge Brewery worth visiting, after? Would like to check out some of the River Arts area too.

@sleepycruiser I put you on the wait list. We are maxed out at 10 on Sat.

The idea of this trip is to go through HC and then run and gun from there with a tentative stop in Hot Springs, NC some time Saturday.

We'll have 8 rigs to get packed up and rolling Sun and Mon morning. NO DAWDLING! We will not be hanging around till noon. Even Heather Stanley will be roused by 7AM! I'll just put something good on her ears and let Sam in the tent with her!

The Wedge just moved into the River Arts District, if you weren't aware. It's pretty neat and 12 Bones (BBQ) is right next door. There's also a food truck on site. It may be a better location than New Belgium if you're looking for food and beer choices. New Belgium will have less food options, but more beer on tap. White Duck is one of my favorites, 12 Bones is not. But, I did have a mean pork belly & tater tot taco from the food truck at Wedge. Basically, it's Asheville. The choices for food and beer leads to decision paralysis.

I literally LOL. I went through the same thing when I first moved to the Keys, bars and restaurants everywhere. I learned what the basics were from the locals and experimented from there.

I am amazed by how much Asheville has grown and changed since I moved to Hendersonville in 05. I think the micro brewery industry is most likely the biggest player in that. Great place to hang out, eat some food and watch the day go by. I've always gotten a great vibe from Asheville. First visited in 85-86 while I was on the road building mall stores.

Did I fall victim to Google Maps? I thought all that stuff was right there together including New Belgium?

Not a fan of Wedge the food truck scheduled for New Belgium is good on Friday.

I just looked at the beer list and it reminds me of Carolina Brewery's list . . not trying to be negative here. The Dragul looks good.

P0330 popped up this morning on my way to work. Hope to have it fixed by Thursday.

WHAT!?!?

I have chosen to forget, so I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

LOL - I was hoping you wouldn't catch that - I purposely left off the @ :)

This is the location next to 12 Bones: 5 Foundy StreetAsheville, NC 28801

but the other location is also in the same general area

This is my nice way of saying I don't have a burning desire to go there anymore. I think Carolina Brewery has had 1 beer I truly liked, and I could do without most of the rest. Don't get me wrong, its a great place here in Pittsboro and I love the food, etc, but its not a great brewery for the kind of beer I like :)

hehehe - this sounds like when we tried Yee-Haw Brewery in TN - the only thing that was good about it was that there was a White Duck Taco attached to it.....I'd go back to that......

Don't feel bad, I don't like beer so you guys may as well be speaking Yiddish
