So, it's time to get this party started.

When: April 10 - 13, 2014
Where: Hawk Pride Mountain ORV Park
Why: because you don't want to miss this one.

Registration will be open in early Jan. And if you haven't heard, Endless Horizon Expedition Outfitters is our first official sponsor and the guys will be cooking chicken and sausage jambalaya on Fri night just before MATT STELL takes the stage!! :clap: :clap:

We will be raising money for the La Lions Camp, a non-profit that puts on summer camp for kids with disabilities from La free of charge to the kids' family. Suzi Brown and the folks at Brown Forensic Accounting have stepped up and graciously donated the charity raffle prize. :clap: :clap:

Also, we are looking for several kids power wheels that folks don't want. Broken and faded are fine with us. Let us know if you or your friends / family have one they are looking to get rid of. :steer:

We will need Mardi Gras beads and doubloons again this year so save some of the throws you catch during the parades.

Any ideas you have for making this event better, post them here, send a note to a committee member, do something and get our attention. We want to hear what you have to say. :idea: :idea:

Just got off the phone with Mark, the park owner. He assured me that improvements have been made since we were there last. More RV spots are being added, the current RV spots have been improved so that you don't have to worry about being on the runners, more camping area is being added, more trails are being cut, all trails will be marked and he has a few more improvements that he asked me not to let out just yet. :idea: Pricing for riding and camping will be the same as last year. If you want to reserve an RV spot, please call the park at 256-349-4150 and talk to Ms. Walena or Mark and let them know you want to reserve a spot. No need to call if you are tent camping. Right now there are 10 RV spots and I think he said he is adding 10 more. So make your reservations soon. If no one answers, leave them a message.

Mark is really excited about us coming back out there. We are going to try to do a pre-Krawl run again this year. Once we get a date, we'll let everyone know. :clap:
 
If you guys have any feedback on the registration process please send me a PM, email or text so I can look at it. I have looked at this a million times and it never fails that someone else will find something I omitted.
