2F rebuild & install (1 Viewer)

Hi All! I used to be dflefty223 but that login didn't work. Anyways. I tore out the 2f got it rebuilt, ordered Jim C's desmog kit, got the carb rebuilt and the dizzy recurved. Now it's time to put it all back together. I'm going to have some questions since this is the only truck i've really worked on my entire adult life and i'm going to post pictures as I go along.

First Question. What is this? And can I pressure wash it?

That's what your oil cooler bolts to...

....and your oil filter screws on to that and the oil gauge sender unit is attached, I would clean that by hand and make sure no debris is inside of it.

Thanks guys! I'm gonna try and post more pictures of the motor coming out and what the new clean and painted block. Cleaning the exhaust manifold and all that jazz today. I'm throwing the motor back in after my diving trip this weekend.

Has anyone one run into problems that I should prepare myself for after putting the motor back in?
