2F Domed Piston Source? (1 Viewer)

My engine builder is having trouble locating a source for some .020-.030 over domed pistons. I am having trouble also. Thought I had a set of sealed power pistons from Summit Racing ordered but they called back and said Federal Mogul stopped making them

Anybody know of a place to get some good quality pistons?

Anybody else with a domed piston source? The ebay seller only had one set left in the U.S. which they promptly sent me, but they were flat tops....

Unfortunately Summit doesnt have any in stock because I ordered a set a couple weeks ago only to receive a call from them saying sealed power stopped manufacturing domed 2F pistons.

Rock Auto has one piston........

I guess I need to keep searching for an ITM source or have someone custom make a set....

WooHoo! Found a set!!!! Seems like the last set of domed pistons in the universe! Found them on ebay from SoCal Imported Auto Parts when they cleaned off the back shelves of their stock room.

For anyones information I spoke with ITM America directly and they have had 100 sets of all sizes back ordered for three months with their overseas manufacturing dept. So I guess they still make them and they will show up eventually...

My machine shop guy had no trouble sourcing a set when I bought all my components last fall. I thought he got them out of Oregon. His name is Barry Griel at Barry's Quality Machine in Chehalis, WA 360-748-6861. Very neat guy, people come from all over the state to have him do work and build engines. I'll look on my invoice and see if there is a name.
