The tire shop has 285's in stock for 960. The 295 are $150 more. Soooo speak up and fight me. Should I wait???

295

I dont know if you have made your purchase yet, but that price is deffinately high. You should be able to get the 295's for what he is charging for the 285's. I got mine mounted and balanced and an allignment after my lift for less. Heres mine, not the best picture, and I think I need to do the running board lift.

geez, all that about 1 cm difference....?

shouldn't you worry instead about the meaning of Life? :D

(and I may just go 255 myself next time... so there!)

take off those running boards......

I knew that was coming, even though I mentioned it. Not to get off the 295 topic but my plan was to wait a couple months until I get some slee sliders. It looks so naked with nothing, I won't have the chance anytime soon to go wheeling anyways. Its unfortunately how work gets in the way of fun.

Edit-- Geeze the more I look at that picture the running boards just look plain rediculous don't they? I never realized.

2000UZJ- Did you pull the trigger on tires yet?

I'm still stuck between 3 tires. It's friggin hard!

295 BFG AT
295 Cooper STT
295 hankook Dynapro MT

There all in the same price range +/- $100. I really need to ditch the michelins.

After tires. I'm doing sliders.

post a current picture of your rig...

Daaang, are those slicks? You need some grippage dude.
Depending on how much you actually wheel, I'd say go with the ATs if you do a lot of highway driving like moi, with the occasional 'legal' off roading we have in IL.

The Hankooks seem to be getting pretty popular. I've seen a lot of trucks around town with them. Cant wait to see yours! Hopefully I can get to a few little trails and add to the pics this weekend
