I've searched for a couple days now but am not having any luck. This is for a 2016 TLC.

I purchased the 17"x8.5" Method 703s with 35mm offset along with 285-75R17 Ko2s. I'm having second thoughts on how the fitment will be. Any guesses?

It'll be set up with ironman FCP lift.

I don't mind removing the flaps and doing some plastic work but wouldn't really like to do a KDSS relo. Thanks!

I am running +35mm offset with the same tires. Also ran Toyo AT3 in the same size. With the proper alignment and some heat gun of the mudflap, I don't have any rubbing. Has been run hard and works great. I personally feel like it is the perfect offset and size tire.

I see a link to your build thread in the sig, but to get something of a time stamp, can you give a quick rundown of your suspension/uca/kdss relo/front lift/etc to help people figure out if this applies to them?

Suspension consists of Icon billet front UCA and rear LCA, BP-51, ARB 2723 rear springs, no KDSS relocation. Front BP-51 set at about 12mm of preload.

Very helpful! Thank you!!

Thank you sir

Ended up installing and aligning the car. Tires are rubbing on KDSS at full lock on driver's side. I think I've come up with a KDSS relocation solution that won't risk failure at the sway bar end link bushings but will know for sure over the next couple of weeks. I'll post updates here.

Do you have the alignment sheet? It seems sometimes rub can depend on how aggressive the shop was with caster.

Good point @bloc . Post your alignment specs. I do know 25mm offset will easily clear both lt285/75r17 and lt285/70r18 on my cruiser with caster at 3 degrees. The 35mm should also clear based on what I can see with the steering wheel at full lock.

Will post a pic today. I asked the shop to get the caster as low as possible (target 2.5) but they weren't able to get that far down.

I recently installed BP51's, front UCA, K02 285/75/17 with Method 703's. I do have some minor rubbing in tight parking spots but believe with some minor trimming we will be good to go. Photo attached.

And in Houston too! we'll see each other around sooner or later... I'm in the Oak Forest area.

I just spoke with Slee off-road today about my concerns of doing a KDSS Relocation and feel much more comfortable about doing it. They have not seen any issues even thought it does add a little more pre-load to the bushings. They have not had or heard of anyone having to replace them. Also, if you had to replace the bushings, cost was anywhere from $200-500. Unless someone on here says otherwise with firsthand experience, I will get either the Trail-tailor or Slee kid as they buy you and 1” of clearance which is perfect for my soon to be 295/70r18

I don't have KDSS but as far as mods go, it's not a big deal. It does impact some things that have already been brought up and another that has not been said.

- stress on the end-link bushings increase leading to shorter life
- changes motion ratio of the KDSS bar, decreasing the effective rate of the sway bar on the front axle. This will effect roll stiffness and possibly cornering balance, giving the front axle just a bit more bite with less understeer (if anyone is driving to that degree)

Can relocate the end link on the LCA to improve the two items above, to a degree. Just pointing out things to go in eyes wide open, but I wouldn't hesitate to do the mod. The larger tires will have more impact in terms of reduced handling and corner. But gain big in off-road clearance and capability.
