Some say installing 285s on a factory AHC vehicle will cause super-heated AHC fluid to come spewing out of the vent that is aimed at your crotch. Some folks even go to a 265/75 to try and completely eliminate this horrendous, life-altering risk.

First time I've heard of this. Not sure if you're being serious or not honestly.
 
Will this not affect the speed on the speedometer when the tire size increase. I'm planning on my lx 470 2005. But I am still doing my search. (forgive me,I'm still new)
Yes it will be off but I believe mine is off like 3-4 mph. Nothing major.
 
285/75/16 on stock suspension and they ride great!
