Hi all,
I got a 22re in a Swiss RJ70 and I have a few things to check; EGR and throttle body cooling are deleted. Head was serviced and valves were replaced, hopefully all was done correctly :d
1) Does that sound healthy:
Bearings, timing chain?
2) I have low idle when weather is hot and high idle when cold (up to 1400rpm and oscillating when brake is pressed). Does that sound like throttle body issue - shall I check for air leak or just replace it?
3) Where can I find a service manual - need to check wiring for my newly installed OEM engine oil pressure sensor (gauge doesn't seem to be working) and need to check if I can repair my old G52 tranny which grinded its reverse?
thanks a ton
Tzvetelin

My first thought is it needs a valve adjustment. How low is the idle when warm? It should be around 750rpm. It can be adjusted with the screw on the throttle body. High idle when cold is normal, but I seem to recall something around 1200rpm, maybe less. Pull the throttle body off and see how dirty it is on the inside.

well, screwing it couldn't lead to fits-all-weather solution; it looks somewhat like that:
hot weather:
- cold engine is 500
- warm engine is 600
cold weather:
- cold engine is 800
- warm engine is 1400rpm
I will probably just order a new throttle body, since deletion of the coolant was because of leakage.
